BANG! Video Game: 4th of July Edition (iPad & iPhone Only)

BANG! Video Game 4th of July Edition

Spinvector and Palzoun, developers of the BANG! Video Game, have released a free special 4th of July lite edition for iPad and iPhone. The lite edition features prominent figures from the American War of Independence, such as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Deborah Sampson, King George III, Benjamin Franklin and Benedict Arnold.

The 4th of July edition is the American counterpart to the BANG! Italian 150 lite edition, which featured figures from the Italian Revolution. It should introduce you to the basics of BANG! gameplay. I love the art! I also hope that it is a fully functioning lite edition. One review at the apple store stated:
Nice that they give you the tutorial, BUT they mislead you by showing the Single Player option, because it isn't available. Why would you show the Single Player option as available when it isn't at all??

I think this reviewer must have made a mistake, because I can't imagine them giving you an unplayable version. Or so we hope!

The reviewer is partially correct. While they do lock you out of the single player mode initially, after you finish the tutorial, the single player mode is then unlocked. This was similar to the iPhone and iPad app for the original Bang! game as well.

  2. Thanks for clearing that up. It make sense for them to want you to go through the tutorial first. I support that move.
