But I have to admit there was some luck involved there - we were down to Fistful of Cards so my passing cards to the sheriff was actually bad for him, for instance.

One advantage I did notice to playing as Claus is that initially, when they don't know who you are, other players usually won't target you first because you're helping them. He's not an intimidating character so he sometimes gets ignored.Becky Gintherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17814072887106049084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7419437603615826921.post-12616792597388186942012-07-28T08:00:33.228-07:002012-07-28T08:00:33.228-07:00try to play as a claus renegade against an elena f...try to play as a claus renegade against an elena fuente sheriff. but even as a claus sheriff against elena fuente renegade is hardJinocchiohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13439897565152659152noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7419437603615826921.post-48151824921218599922011-07-18T20:47:21.056-07:002011-07-18T20:47:21.056-07:00Not to mention that he'll have max 3 life poin...Not to mention that he'll have max 3 life points in the face off with the Sheriff too, in conjunction with having to give the Sheriff a card.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7419437603615826921.post-9765753393744144972011-07-18T20:45:43.386-07:002011-07-18T20:45:43.386-07:00I think it should be pretty clear why Claus is bad...I think it should be pretty clear why Claus is bad as a Renegade. He has to get to the point where it just him and the Sheriff left (without any potential team mates), but then on each of his turns he is benefiting the Sheriff by giving him a card! There is no downside to that. Claus is far better when he can achieve a team victory, as is the case when he is an Outlaw or a Deputy.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7419437603615826921.post-743996603455802132011-07-17T03:08:52.757-07:002011-07-17T03:08:52.757-07:00I guess what I am confused about is why you say he...I guess what I am confused about is why you say he is bad for Renegade.Christian pnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7419437603615826921.post-83519019481480822792011-07-17T03:08:02.618-07:002011-07-17T03:08:02.618-07:00I have not played Bang a lot but I am a little con...I have not played Bang a lot but I am a little confused. The first time I played, I was Clause The Saint and I was playing as the renegade. Essentially, I would take the two best cards, give the third best to the sheriff, and the worst to the outlaws. His character ability functioned as a way to keep the sheriff alive, as I killed the Outlaws.Christian pnoreply@blogger.com
